AVC Faculty, Staff and Students:
We are continuing with our engagement process with respect to the College’s
strategic plan. Last week, meetings were held with AVC Advisory Council and
three internal sound-board groups with representation from faculty, staff,
and students. The feedback was very useful, and this week Dean’s Council
adjusted the plan to reflect the contributions offered.
It is now time to have broader input. To this end, a series of engagement
sessions will be held next week followed by a period of time for response.
The DVM and graduate student session will be held *Monday, November 21,
from 12:30 to 1:20 p.m., Lecture Theatre A*.
To accommodate schedules as much as possible, two sessions will be held for
other members of the AVC community. Faculty and staff will have the choice
of participating at *12:30 p.m. or 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23,
also in Lecture Theatre A*.
Dean’s Council has been working very hard on this document throughout the
Fall, and we feel it offers ambitious direction to ensure that the College
thrives in the future. Looking forward to your participation.
