*BROOMBALL FINALS: Saturday February 25, 9:45 p.m., Arena B, Bell Aliant
Centre*

This Saturday night is the conclusion of the 2017 AVC Broomball Tourney!
The classes of 2019 and 2018 will compete in a semi-final, and the winner
of that match-up will play the class of 2020 in a 30-minute final. The
winning team will receive the $90 pot, a photo op with the famous trophy,
and, most importantly, bragging rights. A party will follow at Upstreet
Brewery. All students, faculty, and guests are welcome to come watch!! Any

*February 27 is National Cupcake Day!*

Monday, February 27, is National Cupcake Day! The AVC Shelter Medicine Club
will be selling cupcakes at the AVC from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and in the
W.A. Murphy Student Centre from 11 a.m. to noon, with all proceeds are
going towards PEI Humane Society.

Cupcakes make the best lunch!!

*Job opportunities with AVC Humane Dog Training Program*

The AVC Humane Dog Training Program is offering four positions for the
upcoming year! Students will be involved in counseling, training and
enrichment programs for dogs at the PEI Humane Society. *The deadline to
apply is Tuesday, February 28.*

*Dog trainers: *
6 hours per week from August 28, 2017 – April 27, 2018 (2 positions)
5 hours per week from  August 28, 2017 – April 27, 2018 (1 position)

*Dog training coordinator (1 position from May 2017- April 2018):*
35 hours per week from May 1 – August 25, 2017
5 hours per week from August 28, 2017 – April 27, 2018
