*Business Club Announcement*

Dear AVC student body,

The Atlantic Veterinary Business Society is looking for students that are
interested in joining our executive committee for next year! The
testimonials of current 4th years universally echo the need for
supplemental education about financial literacy, and if you are interested
in helping bring that to your peers then this is a perfect opportunity!

Additionally, there is the potential to form long lasting contacts with
firms outside the realm of veterinary medicine as well as with the higher
management of local veterinary institutions.

We have many outgoing members of the executive committee as they move on to
their fourth year and graduation. The following positions are up for
election:

· Secretary

· Treasurer

· 1st year representative (to be elected in Fall 2017)

· 2nd year representative

Check out the attached descriptions of the positions that need to be
filled. If you are interested in running, the current executive committee
is planning a meet and greet at the Old Triangle to brainstorm ideas for
next year and to answer your questions. This will take place on this *Monday,
March 6th at 7pm*! The goal is to ease the transition for next year’s
executive as the majority of positions will have to be filled by first and
second year students. If you are interested in joining us, please RSVP to
Annie Oakes, at aoakes at upei.ca.

If you cannot make it on Monday, we still encourage you to run! Please
email avc.businessclub at gmail.com by *Friday, March 10th*, with a short
message about which position you would like to run for and why you feel you
the position suits you.

Sincerely,

Atlantic Veterinary Business Society
