Hello Class of 2021,

I hope you are all enjoying getting know your fellow AVC students. The
Academic and Student Affairs Office staff look forward to seeing you on *Monday
August 28 for a Program Orientation at 9:30 am in 201N (Lecture A)*.

This is just a quick reminder to reiterate a few items that were outlined
in your Orientation folders that you received yesterday.

*Building Access out of Hours*
The main doors and stairwells of AVC are open Monday to Friday from 7:30 am
- 5:30 pm. You will require your UPEI campus card to access the building on
evening or weekends. Most of you obtained your ID card from the UPEI Sports
Centre and got it activated at the Security Services Building during
orientation activities. If you have any issues with your card, please
contact Security at (902) 566-0384 or security at upei.ca. Always keep your ID
card with you as you will need it to have access between floors outside of
regular college hours.

*Parking*
Students will be able to purchase campus parking permits at the Parking
Kiosk located on the main level of the W.A. Murphy Student Centre next week
between 9:00 am and 3:30 pm. Please have your UPEI ID and the vehicle
licence plate number, year, and model with you in order to complete your
purchase. Parking enforcement begins Wednesday September 6.
